Windows Vista : 3/10, From the times Iāve used it, Iāve never seen why people like it so much, its just a slow version of XP
Windows 7 : 10/10, Amazing OS, used it growing up, best design and features
Windows 8(.1) : 1/10, I tried it a couple times on some PCs and VMs and from what I can tell, its fucking garbage and I can hear my brain begging to use something different. Also, fuck that start screen.
Windows 10 : 9/10, Pretty good OS, I really like its speed, reliability, and improved continuity over 8.
Windows 1.01: Shit Dos shell eco plus 4/10

Windows 3.1: Good One especially 3.11 7/10
Windows 95: OSR 2.5 is one of the best versions of w95 10/10

I forgot about Whistler, The Worst Version Ever, Why Startup Sound, BSOD 99% of time when i tried to install it, and finally, i could use Neptune, Itās the same thing but better (meaning neptune)
whistler is xps beta codename, and has several different builds, its startup sound is the same as windows 2000/mes. and neptune is not the same thing but at the same time it is, it was to bring nt to the home users, and odyessy was the succseeor to windows 2000, they were merrged to form whistler, which then became windows xp, what build did you try?
my opinions on windows
95: 6/10: we really wouldnt have windows how it is today without this, and its also kinda nostalgic to me even though im nearly 13,
98: 8/10: i fuckin love this os, i use it all the time for dos games,
2000: 9/10 stable and still supports most software up to 2013, you gotta admit thats impressive
Me: 8/10: 98 but glorified, i dont see why people were complaining about it,
XP 10/10: i grew up with this os, and looking back on it now, i can see why i loved it, its fast and stable and supports a lot of software, some software may still support it
vista, 9/10: very beautiful and fast, the main reason people complained is that their p4 computers with 384 mb of ram couldnt run vista, it was ahead of its time and i admit its rtm was buggy (like pretty much every version of windows)
7, 10/10: vista, but most of the issues were corrected, and to me the ui is easier to use
8.1 (my main os), 10/10: i love 8.1, its always been stable to me and fast, and the only time it ever bsoded on me is when i get an incompatible driver for something
10: 2/10, fucking dogshit, why did microsoft fuck up so much on this one, its bloated, unstable, and if you have 4gb of ram and a celeron like processor, its fucking unusable, i admit ltsc is better, but not perfect, and updates are fucking broken, 1. they can be unstable sometimes, 2. they take fucking forever, and 3. you cant disable them unlike 8.1 and 7
here you go nerds, my āas unbiased as possibleā review of most major windows releases:
1.x: unironically just use MS-DOS shell, almost nothing supports this
2.x: decent evolution of 1.x, still not really worth using
3.1x: great graphical shell for DOS, if you need one
95: a product of itās time definitely, too bad itās kernel aged poorly
NT4: get this if you want a stable '96 workstation environment
98xE: about the same for 95
2000: as good as XP if not better
ME: decent last ditch effort for 9x if your hardware was made for it
XP: i donāt understand why most of you main this thing, itās kinda pathetic, but it was amazing for the time it remained in support
Vista: service packs made it a nice graphical improvement to XP, kinda underrated
7: obviously places my top 5, graphically pleasing and stable as fuck
8.x: grew up with this more than 7 and XP, i prefer it over both sometimes
10: ah yes, time to get biased
if youāre experiencing:
extremely poor performance: stop trying to run windows 10 on a āceleron-like processorā
updates taking too long: stop being impatient
problems with the bloat: use ltsc OR IObit installer, or just stop complaining
paranoia from alleged built-in spyware: legit just stop complaining, almost social product you use is gonna collect data from anyway
ACTUAL REVIEW: good modern operating system, i main it everyday with no issues

Your wrong about the celeron, I have a laptop that has those exact specs and windows 10 home runs good enough me and my cousin can play gmod together
As long as you disable all effects in performance settings and use open-shell (or possibly use the hack to force classic theme), its runs fine.

Windows 10 has improved a lot in recent updates, and i havenāt got a single BSOD for over a year with 10 at this point

i have 4GB of ram and a intel i3, although not as bad as a celerom, still low end
Performance here is great, system is fast and itās really rare to it hang up, and when it does itās normally the appās fault
