Hello,
I know we haven’t updated in a while and I’m aware about the general inactivity. We decided to shift our focus to other avenues within our project and develop other stuff as well, entirely focusing on other things while deviating from other responsibilities and I apologize to a fault.
We’ve been exploring and we’ve changed our objective without shifting away from our current responsibilities which include the services we have already handled (e.g. MSN Explorer and MySpaceIM) and jumped into working on something that’ll be satisfactory for us and for the community as well.
I’m happy to announce that after some really difficult work and sleepless nights for several months spent by Ryder @Ryder_WebTV_3067 & the team closely supporting we have gotten the possibility to finally access Skype and go through a boundary (which seemed to be impossible, something that was out of our league to us and came as a genuine surprise), and therefore, open our doors to further development on this tricky application that has been piquing our interests for quite some time.
We plan to open source as soon as we humanly can, making sure that other people are free to contribute to the project and share their progress with others. We believe knowledge should not be gate kept behind walls
We’re still not done. We’re looking for contributors all around the globe to share their knowledge of the inner-workings of Skype to improve and document the protocol publicly for everyone to preserve knowledge (that’s accessible /FOR FREE/ to anybody who wishes to tackle it) and not let it drift away.
Here’s a complimentary screenshot of Skype 1.4 logged in:
Our Discord is at Nobellium. We’ll see you there.
