NO WHY VERIZON? WHY ARE YOU KILLING AIM? THAT WAS MY ONLY WAY TO CHAT ON A COMPUTER…
Now I cant chat directly to a phone by a computer… AND NO I’m not using Skype, Not that garbage…
I used to use Yahoo! Messenger to do that when they had a PC version.
I’ve also used TextNow. It’s good, but you have to get a new number after a few days of inactivity.
Do many people even use AIM anymore? I know people used to use it years ago, but I’ve never met anybody who still uses it nowadays.
yes a lot actually do use AiM which still makes it a popular messenger that they are taking away.
hmm. I found the same code that SgtArchDornan probably located a few months ago, except I have ported it to a modern IDE and rewritten large chunks of it, and added support for many missing functions… I have it open to public access but my limited upload rate would only accept so much connections.
