Problem description: Used to login but now it refuses to login, tried reseting my password and it still didn’t work
Error code/error message: Wrong Live ID / Contacts couldn’t be loaded
What has been tried so far: Disabling SSL 3/2, updating trust certs, reinstalling

Upgrade to 7, then it will work.
How about, downgrade MSN to 7.5 instand of bothering with Windows 7?

I would recommend using 7.5 or lower anyway, granted you haven’t already set up the proxy Nojus provided. By WLM 8 it starts using HTTPS for some account and contact list related actions outside of login, a few including creating groups, adding contacts, and moving contacts between groups. Since XP’s HTTPS support with Escargot (right now) is screwy even with the IE hacks, that means doing certain things on WLM will be unreliable and not sync well with the server. Just a warning.
