same with the Messenger Gadget:
Both of them is original, unmodified, genuine gadget!
The reason why they do not work is that escargot does not support wlm yet!

The Live Messenger gadget works with MSN Messenger:
Double-click to show the contact list.
This gadget runs a background process, CenerTCPMessenger.exe, which is safe according to Kaspersky and Panda Antivirus. I haven’t noticed any strange activity, only that it keeps running even when you close the gadget, so install it at your own risk.
Also, you won’t be able to close MSN Messenger unless you close the gadget first.

it seems to work, however how do i get the contact list to show up?
Double click on the gadget.
i did, all it does is fade to black and then goes back to idle

ya know what would be a cool windows xp mod. gadgets
the gadjet is working for me but the contact list is not appearing
double click, be logged in to MSN Messenger (msnmsgr.exe), should work anywhere, just don’t have transparency from the gadget, it breaks it.

i don’t understand i installed the gadget but its not working it appears offline… I use Wlm 8.5
