it is comfirmed DEAD, unless you want to walk in a dark forest of no trust, where anything can happen, some walk in, some come out, others, they turn completly different…

Ok guys lol  it may be dead but it can always be accessed. can be accessed via archive. here is the link to that archive. Windows Live Gallery enjoy!

i did, i tryed to login, using escargot = AuthFail, using real = IM STILL WAITINGGGGGGGGG

Well its the original gadget what uses original ms server settings…
Login with escargot id not posibble to real ms server
Login with real ms account not possible because of ms server side update!
I uploaded it to help devs make it working.

Thank you! But how to install it? It is just txt file

make a new folder, move gadget txt to it,
hold shift and right click, open command promrnt
"rename *.txt *.gadget"

Ok, thanks. Whats happened with your pathed version?

its in my user folder, it was in pictures since i last downloaded to that folder.

so the gadget opens but doesn’t sign in

do i need both files

rename it to what and change the extention to what. sorry if i comment a lot.i am very excited about messenger working again

Well, the original filenames are:
OnlineServicesGadget_v1.gadget
MessengerGadget.gadget
You can simply add them to your computer!
Unfortunately neither of them will work at the moment!
It will only work, when escargot server will support the newer versions of messenger!

cool. i will add them to the gadgets system file though so it looks genuine
