Issues with Sending Winks, emoticons, Games, and Photos in MSN Messenger 8.5

I’m using MSN Messenger 8.5 and I’ve gotten along well with a contact from Brazil. However, I’m unable to send winks, despite both of us using the same version (8.5) and having Macromedia Flash Player (via messenger flash reviver) installed correctly. The chat tells me it’s because I don’t have him in my contact list, but this isn’t true. I also can’t send game requests, the photos I send don’t download, and the custom emoticons and gifs appear as blank squares on their end. They can’t even see my profile picture. Why is this happening? I’ve tried with another contact and this issue doesn’t occur with her… but i was using version 7.5 then… so, i dont know.

Windows version: 10

Try using Windows live messenger 2009 and see if the same issue will trigger.

it resolved it… but i would like it more if i didn’t had to switch versions.
thanks

Try this: Messenger Flash Reviver

that… was already used.

The issue here is SharingService having an amnesia episode and forgetting who’s in your AL. I’m not sure why this would happen though. Perhaps it went down and started dropping management requests? If it persists, then i’m not sure what to say.

well if you also can’t play games then you could try using the patcher after the install…
