Yeah, I would like to do that too. I wonder if it is possible.

You can re-order them (Tool > Options… > Tabs), but MSN doesn’t let you remove them.

I don’t think it can be done on the server side because the config file is requested anonymously (no info regarding the user who is requesting it).

Have you searched on Google? Maybe someone made a tool back in the days… or maybe Messenger Plus! can do it?

Fixing Messenger's tabs to use the latest version of IE

Some of the more recent tabs now added in Messenger do not appear correctly or throw javascript errors due to the IE WebBrowser Control which defaults to IE7 mode unless you tell it otherwise.
