has anyone else have trouble installing messenger 2012? it won’t install on my pc. the installer keeps detecting programs that aren’t there and trying to update them and then it just throws this error
INET_E_OBJECT_NOT_FOUND (0x800C0006) “The object was not found”
Considering this HRESULT is in the INTERNET category, maybe it’s trying to pull some now-long-since-deleted XML (usually it’s XML) from somewhere?
