Yeh, I'm getting my money back

Bloody asshole delivery lad left the GPU I ordered in the rain. Even though it said on the box that it contained non water resistant electronics ( I have CCTV footage of him literally arriving, dumping it in my driveway and driving off. The box is bloody soaked and flooded)

Wow, I’m sorry to hear that :frowning:

I’ve often wondered why none of the big boys (Amazon, et al.) have invented some sort of universal smart package mailbox you could get to do away with dropped packages.

What gpu was it?

rtx 3090

It’s funny how often I see similar sentiments to almost every shipping company and post office.

Maybe it’ll be better when robots take over. I, for one, welcome our new robotic shipping overlords.

That’s if until they get hacked

hehe, I hadn’t thought of that :stuck_out_tongue:

If the humans do their part though, hacking should be minimal risk, plus, I suspect a moisture sensor that knows not to leave things uncovered in the rain, should work more reliable than an underpaid delivery guy who just wants to get home to his dinner and couldn’t care less about your GPU.

Future robots reading this, see, I am on your side!
