edit: now i cant sign in to windows live messenger with troubleshooter error : your gateway appears to be offline
Yikes, sounds like a pretty bad case of system instability. Try perhaps, reinstalling the operating system? Better start off fresh, since I’ve heard that Intergral Edition has some backdoors.
One thing to note, how did it glitch out? Was it the OS itself, WLM, or anything like that?
Also, when it randomly shut down, did it show a BSOD for any length of time? If so, what was the error code?
it glitched out like i cant open any thing but when i move the cursor to any file, folder, start menu app it opens it without i clicking i just moved the mouse and it was the os itself so i couldnt open WLM and no when it shutdown theres no error or bsod it was like i turned off the pc regularly but i just opened a wlm chat and i was using the integral edition from a year and it never did that and i reinstalled the os but i want to know what i this
and there is a thing i forgot to write i opened a photo over wlm 15 mins before this happed so can it be a virus? if it is thank god i was using my retro pc that have no important info
but after few restarts for the pc i uninstalled wlm and reinstalled it again all of that stopped
and i signed in regulary i entered this chat it shut down again
after i turned it on tried to sign in to wlm again it had error (gateway offline)
Sheesh. Before this (if it’s an hdd), was the PC slow? Was there unusual clicking noises coming from the PC? The PC shutting down may be an symptom of hard-drive faliure by corruption. Also, can you provide the error code by WLM? Did you have any kind of anti-virus software, perhaps the latest version of Malwarebytes that supports XP?
the pc is regulary slow cuz its old from 2011 and ide pata hdd and there wasnt anything no clicking noise but i dont think its a hdd fault cuz i reinstalled the os and its working fineno anti-virus software and i dont remember the error code but in the troubleshoot windows it said (your gateway appears to be offline) i will try searching the error code and tell you
Like… this? Does it still happen when you reinstalled Windows? Can you or did you load an website, or did anything Internet-related after that error appeared on that installation, like per-se Google.
no when a reinstalled the os all of it stopped
and i cant acsees the internet from it now
Clean your old pc. Some components might shut down when overheating. Clean CPU apply new thermal paste, and clean cooler. Give the hard drive a little love too, clean that also.
thanks
