I been having a problem with windows live messenger 8.1. the error is that it keeps saying to repair and reboot my computer. after the fact that I did it already it does it again. I tried uninstall and reinstall. here is a screenshot of it on my windows vm.
See if running as admin works
it don’t run in run as admin because it just won’t end with the repair. the installer is an msi not exe as well.
this sounds like one of those “Advertised Shortcuts”, you really want to launch 32-bit: C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe 64-bit:C:\Program Files (x86)\MSN Messenger\msnmsgr.exe
ok well it’s not. even if I go into one of those folders it still tell me to repair windows live messenger 8.1.
i stopped trying to put winks in WLM. not worth continuing when I can’t fix it. thanks for the help everyone.
