Hey there! I’ve just downloaded Windows Live Messenger 8.5 (patched), but I don’t seem to be able to log in. I put in my Escargot email account and password, and it showed me this:
Yes, the program is patched and yes I’ve tried changing my password to be shorter, but it didn’t work. Do I need to use my microsoft account for this or do I need to download the unpatched version and patch it myself? Any help would be greatly appreciated! 
did you run the post install exe on the zip?
also this is not Escargot’s forum anymore, you should probably join their Discord server or sum (it’s linked on their website, not bothered to copy paste the link here)
Yes, I did exactly that! It’s the patcher, right? It doesn’t work.
Also, I’m not sure if I can access Discord right now, given my personal past experience with it, but I’ll try to join their server in case I don’t get an answer here.
