been using it for quite a while. the whole of office 2010 works with outlook 2010. so does windows live mail 2011. you may have a few issues at first but after that you can use any of the old apps as a permanent solution for checking your emails

i have a problem with mine, it wont send, i think is because the server have a modern ssl for the stmp,
mine is the Windows live mail 2006 wich is pre installed on my vista laptops

Works fine for me. Do you have SP2 or any updates installed? If you are on RTM then thats why. And yes I get spam that use my online username. Someone decided to sign me up for spam.

yes is updated, what is rtm?
also the email provider modernized recently leaving behind who had “old” browsers, it doesnt even work on ie11, i hate when they do that.
i think they changed some ssl things
