Windows 10 BCD error

So I got a Windows 10 usb stick to install windows 10. but when i tried to use it it said “Your Boot Configuration Data is missing or contains errors” i’ve seen fixes for after windows is installed but not during setup

This also works if you have not completed setup afaik

how am i supposed to use installation media if it’s the installation media that’s the problem

or use a different install, i can send you one

i downloaded mine from the microsoft website this morning

if i had the iso you were using i could try installing it in a vm for testing.
