Were you able to recreate the nodes of older versions of skype?

Im really think that its revive! im say maybe 3 to 8 half week and it be revives, there is many things which is rely on skype like telebision device,and phone landline feture which haves skype support .
no? it usually takes years for a “revival” to show up.
for instance, escargot didnt show up until 3 years after microsoft had pulled the plug on msn messenger (not counting trekie’s messenger reviver since it wasnt a custom server implementation) and it took another 3 years for escargot to officially support wlm 2009.

i seriously hope microsoft is going to drop an update that removes this “feature” completely from windows 10. this “feature” is basically just two buttons that open up skype’s meeting feature, not even teams, lmao.

Actually Skype servers will be fully shutdown on May 12,also Microsoft Released Skype updates 8.150 that will brick the app,You can downgrade to 8.138 on Windows and Android but on iOS it’s hard

Skype will be completely shut down on May 12th. Throughout this week, everything related to Skype will be gradually disabled on the server side. Many old endpoints have already been removed or are now timing out

Anyways if anyone wants to get skype working again you need an older apk (i used 8.132)
Then i used APKTool M to change the version string to 8.150.0.125 (Latest version (which has the killswitch)) and that worked
for some context: after msn messenger officially shut down in 2013, one could use trekie’s messenger reviver to make it functional again, because some of the servers were still functional. this was possible until 2017 when microsoft closed the last remaining server.
