Velocity Updates! Skype is now revived on Velocity
This is a rather big update… Skype for Web is now here! This took a bit to create since it was difficult to get everything in order. Things kept jumping around but finally, it’s in the stage where it works!

Currently you have to create your Velocity account here Velocity Chat but afterwards, you can use Skype for Web.
We are also working on a few neat things such as AIM support and other Skype versions. We will announce when it’s ready!
Bug fixes (for Velocity’s Custom Client, not Skype for Web):
- Snowflakes are no longer enabled for newly logged in users - It’s not chilly!
- Light mode now shows the dark version of the status picker - It’s a difference between night and day!
- Emojis in messages no longer cause text to go onto a new line - Teleportation to a new line, new magic!
- New lines can be sent within messages now - New magic can be controlled!
- Network disconnects don’t break the client anymore - No refresh, it’s already fresh.
