Hi everyone, I want to say that the patched Skype 8 on the Teams servers is not working right now, including Skype Lite! I used the Skype 8 mod by Pavlosik in February 2026, but now it doesn’t work! But I think that if we try to restore it again, but make it stronger! We need to patch Skype 8 (the mod by Pavlosik), Skype for Android and iOS, for Windows, Linux and Mac! Skype will think it’s on its own servers, and the Teams server will think it’s Microsoft Teams, and that will create confusion (if that’s even possible). Maybe we can do everything together, as a team?

This would need quite some effort, including an additional service/server that can translate Skype 8’s backend to Teams. It is unlikely that it is still possible to connect Skype 8 directly to Teams now. And also why Skype 8, of all versions?
I want to say that I chose Skype 8 because it’s newer and more compatible with Teams servers. I want to say that the versions will be: 8.138, 8.95.76.408 Preview. And among the unofficial ones: Skype Classic 4.0! Also, I’ll try to run Skype 7.41.0.101 on Teams servers (there will be some issues)

the last authentication method worked on wlm2012 was on until skype shut down, so maybe it would real to connect throiyght teams? just an theory ….
Like I have started in the kringIM thread this was not due to the Skype shutdown.
