Says wrong ID in WLM (error code 80048821) but it's not wrong

I uninstalled escargot, and installed the crosstalk WLM (patched 14.0) and ran the tool for win11 24h2 versions.

When I try to log into my account, I keep getting wrong ID message (error code 80048821), but it’s NOT wrong. I wrote down the password in notepad, copy and pasted, but it says its wrong. i copy and pasted it at the crosstalk login site, and it works there. and yes ive checked and rewritten the email many many times, it’s also the same. so my email/PW on the crosstalk website grants me access, but not thru the WLM.

Am I not supposed to use the email I signed up with as login for the live messenger? I’ve chosen it as the login-mail for WLM in the settings, and I even tried copy-pasting the email in the settings to WLM just to make sure there were no mistypes… still, just getting a wrong ID/PW error.

Make sure your email contains no capital letters. Make sure your password is 15 characters or less (client-side limitation of WLM it seems).

I wlll try to change the password then and see, as mine is 16 characters. I couldn’t find any info on this on the website or within the account settings. Luckily my email is all lower caps.
