Funny you bring up Newgrounds, because I heard that they are making/already made (?) a Flash player emulator! They advertised it pretty heavily on NG itself about a year or two ago. As far as I know, it’s just a Flash player created by NG so there isn’t decades of internet history lost.
I’m not completely sure where the project went, but look into it if you’re worried!

are you talking about Ruffle or the NG player? because the latter isn’t an emulator, I think It’s a modified version of an official adobe projector
