I see… The rewrite sounds challenging, so good luck working on it! But to clarify what I meant, I understand that this kind of project is very hard work. I didn’t think you’d be working on them both at the same time!

decided to change the name to remsgr, new domain is remsgr.net (not available yet but will be soon) and obviously new logo (fully designed by me in figma ofc)

7.5 is now able to connect using MSNP11! working on MSNP12 now, it’s not that different anyways so (7.5 uses RST.srf instead of the regular tweener so i had to implement RST which was very complicated tbh)

Get used to it, as RequestSecurityToken is a bit of a flexible format and is used for many things this point on (MSNP12+, technically you can authenticate with PP1.4/TWN but that’s a can of worms).
I recommend stretching out your XPath implementation.
I should really look into PP3.

MSN Messenger 7.5 connected on MSNP12, MSNP12 is now fully functional, which means the next version will be MSNP13 (and i’ll have to deal with the hell that is SOAP requests… this might take more time)
also i finally got around to implementing groups, i’ll admit i didn’t do it out of laziness but now they work and are fully implemented

yeah bit i prefer this cause its 3D made i like the colors and i prefer that is reminds the old good times
small update on windows live messenger development, i got the wlm 8.0 beta to log in, but it doesn’t show the contact list for some reason (i can’t figure out why for now but eventually i will… i hope)
here are some screenshots of me being logged into 8.0 beta tho
by the way, it can receive messages & can send messages cause people on other compatible clients see you’re online even if wlm 8.0 can’t see them

i have deployed an alpha testing server (compatible 6.1-7.5 with a patched client for 7.5)
to apply for it, please fill out this short form, i need people who can actually help us alpha test correctly
windows live messenger is not supported for now because it is still in early stages, and older clients have some issues, 6.1-7.5 is the most compatible for now
