You can use different rendering engines to your liking so that’s cool.

There is a rendering engine on there called IE Compatible which is for websites that have compatibility issues.
Users can choose whatever their favorite engine as the default, and switch to others when the default cannot render a web page properly.
What the heck?
So that’s why they’re there I guess.
IE Compatible is for old websites that aren’t updated to the newer code.
