Oldest Avast Antivirus 4.x for Windows that I found on web.archive.org!

I found the oldest Avast Antivirus 4.x downloads that I found on Wayback Machine. Here they are: http://web.archive.org/web/20021223034630/avast.com/iavs4pro/setupeng.exe (in case if your Windows edition is labeled “Starter”, “Home”, Home Edition”, “Home Basic” or “Home Premium”)
http://web.archive.org/web/20021223034942/avast.com/iavs4pro/setupengpro.exe (in case if your Windows edition is labeled “Business”, “Enterprise”, “Ultimate, “Pro” or “Professional”)

In fact, these versions are not intended for specific editions of Windows. Home Edition is equivalent to Free Antivirus (free version) while Professional is equivalent to Premier (paid version).

But do they get definition updates,

Nope. They discontinued support for updates to virus definitions in 4.x last year.

Oh

I know you wanted to use version 4, but NEVER use an outdated antivirus. You are at risk.

Yes i know

what about avast 5 ( ͡o ͜ʖ ͡o)
