For those who probably don’t know, NINA made access to their AOL service free for everyone. Originally you had to donate about $25 to get access to the service, but now, they made it so that you can use it without charge. Now, they did state about the “donation requirement” issue, which I unironically got on an alt account, but you can just send them an email with your NINA account and they’ll resolve it for you

it seems a bit miselading to say free without donation and just all it a day. y’all should mention that you still need to be active in the community for a free account or you need to pay 2$. it’s stated on y’alls website!
Free AIM access to new accounts currently unavailable due to high demand, abuse, and other issues. You can obtain access by donating at least $2 USD (which will also help support pay for hosting the service itself) or by becoming active in our community and overtime obtaining access for free via community activity and contribution.
Um, I don’t work for NINA, I just wanted to make this post as an announcement, and um, the service is free, they just forgot to remove the donation requirement message.
