New kid on the block

I’m a little late to the game but there is another option for classic AIM / ICQ service.

I spun up a server and have no intentions of shutting it down. Right now it does send over http for registering but I’m working on forcing ssl.

Where I do IT work at is gracious to let me use a little internet and electricity to run the server and being a dynamic address I’m working on SSL. I finally got the page design where I like it so I’m just tidying up the security a little bit from home.

Give it a whirl, or don’t, it’ll still be there. Right now Phoenix is down and nina seems to be the only option so I figured I’d offer.

Will always be free, and no donations will be asked for. If it takes off I might host in the cloud but it won’t change the fact that it’s free as air.

Thank you for letting me ramble a little bit.

If I may ask, which versions do you support right now? I couldn’t find any (obvious) info on the site which is why I ask, but that could just be a skill issue on my part :stuck_out_tongue:

Edit: Just updated to 5.9.6089 with no issues.

So I accidently spammed the forum, my bad.

Right now I’m running 5.1.3036 but the protocol says 1.x to 5.x with just changing the connection field and 6x+ changing a lot more.

Just point it to retro-chat.ddns.net port 5190
