you send a (HTTP) request to the server and the server gives you information from Escargot, such as display pictures, PSMs or banners.

Congrats you found the first problem with my server.

You can only request stuff from people that I have as contact in my contact list in WLM.

I could, make my own custom WLM client written in C#. But I couldn’t get MsnpSharp working yet.
