It’s funny, I was going to bring this up, but for some reason they decided to bring back the colours. Especially for each part of the wing like the old one was.

I heard about this before seeing it and was pleasantly surprised when I saw the new logo.
They’ve incorporated most (all?) the elements of the original with a new twist.
I wonder if they’d consider backporting the concept to the Windows logo…

I’m almost wandering whether they’ll revive WLM at all, following this decision to bring back the MSN logo and branding. It would make a positive statement but I guess Microsoft doesn’t run on nostalgia too much. I’d love that but I do think they’re too invested in Teams and seemingly not that bothered about Skype. I’m almost questioning so what was the point in buying out Skype and kill off, imo, the best thing Microsoft ever had. I got told “they just wanted to go in a different direction” when I enquired but that answer just didn’t feel at all satisfying to me. And I’m just hoping someday in the future they bring it back.
