Messenger Classic - A modern MSN Messenger revival (web & mobile)

Hi everyone,

I’ve been building Messenger Classic, a web-based MSN Messenger revival that tries to recapture the original feel while adding the things we expect today.

It has the classic contact list, chat windows, nudges/winks, emoticons, status messages and sounds, plus private group chats, clubs with moments/events/voice rooms, XP levels and achievements, a rewards inventory, profile frames, and real group voice/video calls.

Available on mobile for download on web, App Store and Google Play :grinning_face:

I’d love feedback from this community, especially if anything feels off compared to the real MSN experience. If you like the project, a link or mention anywhere is hugely appreciated.

We are approaching 200 users, launched end of July, all organic.

can be AI, but im not rlly sure (ironic because I use AI) and also, might be because the wording seems very suspicious

Clearly AI, from the site layout and style, and the text (excessive use of em dashes, for instance)

Just because it uses em dashes does not meant its AI… But to be honest asides from that looks very AI generated

YES ! Images are generated by AI ! But is that the only usefull feedback everyone can give? AI, AI, AI? That said, thanks, we are approaching 300 users. Much love.

Don’t know about the backend, but the UI seems fully AI generated. Not coming from a place of judgement, but perhaps you could further refine the interface or maybe even have an AI-use statement.
