So Today I just found out that log1p.xyz (Escargots old domain) was on sale, I was just wondering if I should buy it, what do you think guys?

Well I mean I live in the UK, and 281 USD is 210.79 GBP, so maybe it could be a bad idea

I would think (hope?) they would just drop the domain at some point soon if nobody’s buying it. I have a domain that I let expire due to financial issues that Spaceship is trying to fetch $3k for and I’m hoping for the same there (though it is a more “premium” domain arguably).
From what I know log1p was valtron (Escargot dev)’s personal domain, Escargot was just a subdomain. So while it did house Escargot at one point it had other things on it as well. I don’t really see a use in buying the domain other than redirecting people to some other service/etc. if the old link is even still floating around. Definitely not worth nearly 300 bucks to do that.
