It seems iWarg is working on an AOL revival

Yes, the real AOL, the real clients, everything seems authentic.

i can’t wait for this to come out because i forgot my AOLEmu password and they don’t have a password reset

aolemu is more of a “simulator”, while POL seems to be a server revival.

Mom get off the phone I’m downloading Doom maps!

I sent a forum topic to them and I will give their reply as proof that they are running it.

Well, it does make a connection before losing it.

Yay!

progress i guess

yeah. on the same port as aim phoenix i believe it gets to checking password then dies

The site got updated today, and there’s a menu now. :grinning:
But it turns out the server is under develipment. :sob:

the site barely works, the forum isn’t even implemented yet, it just screams a PHP error on the navigation.

Warning: mysql_query() expects parameter 2 to be resource, null given in C:\wamp\www\phol\sectionnav.php on line 81

Warning: mysql_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be resource, null given in C:\wamp\www\phol\sectionnav.php on line 82

(even though they could just copied and pasted the code from the two other sites)

Since this is in early-WIP, as well as to avoid having people beg for it to come out… i can understand.

Whoa. Sounds very promising. I’ve been waiting for one of these since the servers went down.

Out of curiosity, how did you find out about this project?

he left a button on the phoenix site

It isn’t listed on iwarg.ddns.net, so i bet it was a thread on- oh. i see now.
