Is there anyway to use msn while connected to protoweb on ie

im using windows xp sp3 and msn 5.0, connecting to the protoweb proxy on ie 8 makes it so that you cant connect to msn, this problem doesnt exist on aol, it only happens on msn.

try setting msnmsgr.escargot.chat as an unproxied location
