Problem description: When trying to log in, a few milisseconds after the main window appears, it just crashes (as if I was closing the program manually)
Error code/error message: Doesn’t appear
What has been tried so far: Nothing
Messenger version:14.0.8117.0416
Windows version: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 (22621.963)
i have had this issue for many times there are a couple of fixes
1 wait a while the app would just fix itself
2 regedit method:
first go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger
just change the MSNMessenger key to MSNMessenger-test or something
make sure Messenger isn’t running when you do that
this will fix it
Odd enough, it is resulting on WLM not opening the Login screen anymore
Reverting the values brings to the same state as before tho
huh that is wierd
then it is rectifey 11
I’ll try to uninstall it and see if it works
