I'm having a issue loginning WindowsXP

Hey there… I’m trying to login using Windows XP but It gives me Error 80048821 I tried loginning several times, I’ve uninstalled msn and reinstalled. Restarted the pc but nothing worked… any solution?

Which version of Messenger you use?

I’ve used both 8.5 and 7.5 but I have the same error… I don’t know if I have to uninstall MSN from WinXP…

Versions 8.1 and 8.5 do not work in Windows XP. But 7.5 should work. Go to the Start Menu, Run, type inetcpl.cpl and press enter. Go to “advanced”, look for “Security” and make sure the “SSL 2.0” box is disabled and “TLS 1.0” is enabled.

Maybe you are using a port that the server isn’t using. But that is beyond my realm of expertise, so I can’t help you with that.
