i found an old win 98 gateway and i got msn messenger 3.7 working!

vmware tools is there because i had to copy windows files from my 98 vm because the hardrive was bust this was the only way it would boot

intresting you say that because the resoultion is in 16:9. virtually all pcs at the time of 98’s heyday used 4:3 aspect ratios.
