I am using Windows 7 too on a lap, and I don’t have much of a choice since my desktop computer with Windows 10 broke.

i use windows 8.1, because windows 10 is so glitchy and buggy

i use 7 because 8.1 has the start screen and windows 10 is too metro

and the start menu is still too big with all the tiles

I’m using Windows 7. I’m not really into Windows 10’s massive spying thing from what I’ve read a couple years ago. I’m not sure where it is at now, so I am staying on 7 for now - have been for a good 9 years now!

I honestly think that spying thing is total baloney. I did the free upgrade from 7 to 10 on my desktop computer, and I don’t feel sorry for that. I never had those spying problems you are talking about, it was a good OS for the time I used it.

Sorry to say but, MS already are pushing spying updates to 7 and 8.1

windows 10 does not spy users , the telemetry data is bigger, that’s for sure but if you understand at least 1% of how telemetry works, you know that it is not spying and only collect errors logs and other stuff like this
