How to solve "Newer version of contacts platform is already installed"

Problem description: I want to reinstall WLM 14, but now I can’t reinstall contacts, because it says that I have a “newer” version of Contacts platform when I don’t

Error code/error message: Newer version of contacts platform is already installed

What has been tried so far: Deleting residual registry, deleting temporal files, restarting computer, nothing works

Messenger version: 14

Windows version: Windows 11 24H2

That depends on which client you’ve (last) installed.

For Messenger version 14 (WLM 2009): msiexec /x {3175E049-F9A9-4A3D-8F19-AC9FB04514D1}
For Messenger version 15 and above (WLM 2011 and 2012): msiexec /x {41C61308-6CFD-4D54-AB6A-7136ED08A18E}
