Guys I made a AIM server

So I did it I made a aim server.

If you want to see it it is here GitHub - InternalCorporation/Escaropen-: Escaropen! is a revival for old Aol Instant Messager. Made as a idea for People.

You didn’t “make” anything. You just forked someone’s else’s project and slapped your own name on it.

I agree with @HIDEN. @Brad_Christopher, I hope that you can take this into account and credit the original Repo’s owners/contributors (unless you got explicit permission). You should credit retro-aim-server like you did with Brent-Instant-Messenger. It’s quite confusing since you seem to have multiple GH accounts.

no I own the git I just forked my own repository

I don’t believe https://github.com/mk6i/retro-aim-server is realistically yours. That’s what they’re saying.

@mk6i can’t stop me.

Forking a fork of retro-aim-server, adding some low-effort Roblox references and potato screenshots, and claiming that you’re the original author does not make you the original author.

there only 2 screenshots

I have deleted the thing

i agree with @hiden
i was a proper dumbass in 2018-2021 but atleast i didn’t steal projects blatantly

Bruh this is like How (not) to become a trusted Developer 101
