FreeSO is a reimplementation of The Sims Online™’s game engine, using C# and Monogame.
If you’ve never played The Sims Online before, it was a Sims MMO (based on the original Sims game) that was open from 2002 to 2008. There are skills to level up, jobs to do, and of course you can build your own property just like you can in The Sims. It is very much a social game, so there are tons of opportunities to meet people and make friends.
Even though it was just opened recently, there are plenty of people playing it and the community is one of the best I’ve seen in a game.
Due to how the game was recreated it will only run on computers with Windows Vista and up.
