I found the very old official installer of Skype that appears to be of version 0.98.0.28 (released on June 15, 2004), which despite being a beta version, it is a very important version because it was the first version of Skype ever released which let you send emoticons in messages.

If it’s just on the internet archive, it’s not that important 
You also necroposted multiple revival threads asking for this version to be revived. I don’t think you have to revive an entire BETA VERSION just because it added emoticons. Plus, from what I’ve heard, creating a revival for skype versions 7 and below is pretty hard and or time consuming.
