Hi! I’ve tried to add contacts and it just says “… isn’t using messenger yet!” and when i try to add contacts of someone i chatted with i dont see them on my friends category??

Use Crosstalk instead, Escargot was exposed.
I appreciate the support but I would prefer if you didn’t spam every post referencing Escargot to advertise CrossTalk.

Who told you that i spam? i don’t do that always, that would be an exaggeration.
You (and a few others) have been posting that any time someone is looking for help with Escargot or sharing their contact info. Informing them of what happened is good, but advertising CrossTalk under any post mentioning Escargot is quite frankly super annoying and is not a good look for us.
(Also I would just like to note that “Escargot was exposed” is too vague to actually convey anything meaningful, you should probably link to the thread or at least summarize it)

It might be that user just simply doesn’t have an account. Or maybe you’re adding them by their email address instead of the user handle (username@escargot.chat)
Huh, that’s strange. I always add people from the contacts section of the escargot website..
