Problem: First time login from an escargot account that was never affiliated with MSN. Returns a “We cannot log you in” error, despite the fact that both the email and password are accurate to the set I used for my Escargot account.
Error code: 80048821
What has been tried so far: That “forget me” fix, a legacy password, and straight up just changing the password associated with my account.
Messenger version: WLM 9 (patched) (sadly, as of writing i’m on a bus with a dead laptop, so I can’t check, but i’m quite sure.)
