Ayashii-World was the first Japanese message board released in 1995 it was ran by a guy who went by the name Shiba until it was shutdown around 1998 and after that it just became a collection of clone websites.
Ayashii-World is the grandfather of chan culture and one of the grandfathers of internet culture in general. Without sites like Ayashii-World Amezou and 2channel we wouldn’t have a lot of the internet culture we have today.
