Hello to anyone viewing my post, but i am currently developing a MSN Revival and YES IT SUPPORTS MSN EXPLORER AND THE 2002 MSN REPLICA CAN ALSO PULL CURRENT NEWS DATA! I’m not that sure if i can actually make this succeed tho. One reason is because i don’t have a server! Sure i have a NUC but i use it for other web related stuff. IDK if i can use a public hosting service but i’ll check. I may need help from other people when i release my revival because i am not really smart at PCs and because of that, currently only MSN Explorer 7 and maybe 6 works. Sadly the E-Mail features got me confused too. I just know that they try to authenticate the user with Hotmail. Maybe someone else can figure that out. If i have even more time i can fix People and Chat, EShop, Zone.com(or ‘‘Games’’ in MSN Explorer) and maybe even get the sidebar stuff and the ads to work. IDK if i can pull this off but it would be awesome if i would.
Any chance of a video demo/screen recording showing off what you have working? 
Pulling off that won’t be easy, it’s harder than you think, however, if you are persistent and have enough info about how to make it work, then maybe you will have a chance, but it’s still low.
IDK I am still working on like the SQL database and stuff but yeah i am just a single person in a small room so idk if i can pull it off yet. BUT! I am currently working on like the E-Mail and stuff. Basicly all i know about the email is the retail version of MSN (the one that comes bundled with XP) has a really complex verification system. I also managed to get the built-in messenger features working with Escargot (not the ones in the E-mail parts only the top bar that shows your online contacts). I also managed to get this working with protoweb. But one barier that stops me from hosting this publicly is that I Have a Public IP that changes and some other people also use my WI-FI and i don’t want them to be able to hack my server and get into my network and i also have some other stuff like yt2009 running on my server. And also I dont have more than one server.v Anyways i might share a demo soon. In the time of writing this i am working on trying to get the built-in hotmail to work with other people using the service. I also tried to recreate the adclient31.dll that it uses to display ads so i can put a gif or an image as an ad but basicly like i said, I am just a basic person that almost knows NOTHING about coding. Maybe someone can help IDK.
Also here is a really barebones demo of it running on Windows 11. Of course it will work best on XP.
Since the version of MSN Explorer i used in this demo is not the retail one that came with XP it does not even verify if the user account has a valid hotmail account. And also i might have to cancel this project.
Hmm, not bad, how did you do that though? what proxy softwares are you using? you will need client.xml and clientpost.srf at least for access only.

Oh, that, i have used that long time ago, i know the creator too, it is good for an access and research but it won’t give you the same experience as the revival which you are trying to make.
Ok I am sorry but if your saying your going to make a “MSN Revival” stop using other peoples code and just spin it off as yours. Really if you want a revival atleast be original and code it yourself and reverse engineer it yourself.

I Got the built-in Hotmail on the retail MSN 7 the one that comes with XP to successfully think I am logged into Hotmail. I am currently working on getting the built in mail.mar UI to work.
I have cancelled this project. Mostly because of not having more than one server. Please stop reading this post
