Problem description:
I can’t message one of my contacts, @Ferret98.
He appears online, but I get different errors on WLM 8.5 and on Mercury.

Error code/error message:
WLM 8.5: The following message could not be delivered to all recipients.
Mercury: Your contact appears to be online

What has been tried so far:
I tried sending messages and nudging.

Messenger version:
Windows Live Messenger 8.5/Mercury Messenger

Windows version:
Windows 7 Ultimate x64/CyanogenMod 10.2 on my phone

For WLM 8.5, I’d suggest terminating the process (right-click on its icon in the taskbar/the little box containing some other taskbar icons, right-click on it, and click on the “Exit” menu strip), then relaunching the program and logging back in to see if messaging works.

If that hasn’t work, though, then try rebooting your computer, relaunch WLM 8.5 (if necessary), log back in, and try talking to someone to see if messaging works in that case. :stuck_out_tongue:
