Connection lost error (AIM 7.5 NINA)

Everytime I try to log in to AIM 7.5 patched with NINA servers, I always get this error message “Connection lost” even after typing in correct username and password.

What’s the problem and how do I fix it?

Exit out of AIM completely Make sure AIM tabs aren’t open

the same thing happened to me but i use 5.0

I also tried running the program as administrator and it didn’t work. So I assume I’ve upgraded AIM from version 5.9 to 7.5 several days ago.

Make sure you properly followed the connection instructions. AIM 6.2+ have an extra step on top of having to run the NINA Auth Patcher. Have you done this?

he was talking about AIM 7.5 not 6.2

6.2+ = 6.2 and newer. All versions between 6.2 - 7.5 are affected.

For whatever reason, after I patched AIM 7.5 with NINA servers twice, the problem gets fixed.
