Can't login on MSN 7.5/WinXP

Can’t login. When I try I get the error “MSN could not sign you in because the sign-in name you entered does not exist or your password is incorrect.”
I’m running a fresh install of Windows XP SP3.

I am able to login using MSN 7, but I lose my contact randomly (I only have one).

BTW, thanks for the server! It is great to be able to use MSN again.

XP: Enable the “Update Root Certificate” setting in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs > Add/Remove Windows Components (on the side).

Contacts problem was fixed a few days ago, try it again and it should stick now.

I looked for this option on my Windows XP PC and it was already checked. I also can’t login on 7.5 on my Windows 10 PC, but MSN 7.0 works, so I’ll be sticking with that, but I still lose my contacts when I log out and back on.

I’m using the patched version from here.

@conscript Contacts problem should be fixed now, please check.
