To get Escargot running on XP, you need IE8 installed, reasonably up to date root certificates and lastly, you will need to go into Internet Options either in the Control Panel or Internet Explorer, go to the Advanced tab and unselect ‘Use SSL 2.0’ and ‘Use SSL 3.0’, as well as turn on ‘Use TLS 1.0’. You can then test your connectivity by going to https://m1.escargot.log1p.xyz within Internet Explorer and making sure it loads without a connection error (you’ll get a 404 page). If it is not abl…

EDIT: Also of note, make sure the date/time is set correctly, and they may want to try using 8.5 temporarily, as the error codes provided back are far more useful for solving problems.
