Probably a dumb question but I’m still not super well-versed in setting up alternate IMs :’D Is it possible to use Crosstalk’s messengers through/with Adium?
Compiling libpurple protocol plugins for Adium instead of Pidgin is possible, so it’s probably just compiling CrossTalk/msn-pecan: CrossTalk-compatible libpurple plugin; a modification of msn-pecan - ugnet source code collection in a way that makes a AdiumPlugin bundle.
The old CreatingPlugins page probably still applies in some regards, but not sure on exact details on compiling for libpurple
