i havent finished the list and i need feedback.

(now as for the rtx 4060 i have owned this part for a year and given the current gpu market i have no idea if i’ll upgrade it for the time being)

In my view, I wouldn’t upgrade a GPU until you have an application/game that needs it.

Happy to see an optical drive on that list :stuck_out_tongue:

I am a bit curious what you have in mind with the Sound Blaster.

i may switch to an amd card given well, linux. but i feel like amd gpus are more for gaming rather than workstation-y stuff, so idk.

yeah i want this pc to basically support everything i may need without using external shit.

i honestly just want audio without any interference. my current setup has some sort of realtek intergrated thing in it and everytime i move my mouse or when it does something theres always some interference with my headphones. and its kinda annoying.

bought the psu and ram

currently in the process of building it

for the time being i’ll reuse the drives from my current setup, along with the dvd drive from my old childhood pc.

Nm fuck the case is dogshit so ill have to get another one

What was wrong with the case?

there appears to be a very common problem with this case where screwing in the motherboard is very difficult because the screwholes are all fucked for some reason

fuck it

Wow this new choice is a one good looking case.

That side fan vent would probably be a perfect place to put some LEDs around inside.

I would put GPUs like GeForce GTX 1060 Ti or whatever.

…i already have a rtx 4060

But what about 32GB of DDR4 RAM?

If I could, not you.

brother, if you looked at the pcpartpicker list, you would notice that this is a system that uses ddr5 ram, and i’ve already bought all of the pieces. all thats left to buy are additional parts that arent really necessary.

But what about the motherboard, why doesn’t it support anything older than windows 10?

because why would i run windows 7 in 2025?

not like this is gonna run windows anyways its probably gonna run linux

Windows 7 would go flop in this PC, cuz… most of drivers ain’t supported. Unless there is a driver.

rant rant war war

I mean, I have :upside_down_face:
