Considering this is XP holdout central, I’m hoping someone has a copy of the latest version of the Java Runtime Environment for XP.
I have a really old laptop that I need to run Minecraft on, but it only runs well on XP.
The last Java for XP released was JAVA 8 update 60 since its no longer on Java website heres the link to it: http://www.filesetups.com/windows/browsers/java-runtime-environment-8.0-update-60-32-bit
and yes Minecraft runs on it
.Have a nice day
And btw it has a digital signature signed by Oracle America Inc. so its virus free ![]()
doesn’t seem to start
what does it say?
Nothing. The installer doesn’t pop up after warning that it’s not compatible.
wait a minute for me it installed
nvm i just had to install updates ![]()

The last time I installed Java on Windows XP was in 2017, and it was the most current version when I installed it. It has several versions after that of 2015 that support XP.
strange for me later versions gives error 1803 and says not compatible ![]()
The latest one doesnt even open ![]()
Did you installed java?
I spoke of a version of 2017 (which at that time was the latest), not the most current one today ![]()
It doesnt work. For me
